Engineering Manager – Revenue Management (Azure)

About the role

The Engineering Manager – Revenue Management Azure will be part of DoiT’s global R&D team, leading a cloud‑focused engineering group that builds SaaS products on Azure. This hands‑on player‑coach role combines technical contribution with people leadership, operating remotely across the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden and Israel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team, overseeing delivery, career development and hiring.
• Write and review code, drive architectural decisions, and maintain engineering standards for cloud‑based SaaS services.
• Own the team’s roadmap, planning, prioritisation and delivery cadence while aligning with business objectives.
• Partner with Product, Design, GTM and Customer Success to ensure cross‑team alignment and effective communication.

Required profile

• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering management with active coding responsibilities.
• Hands‑on experience building and operating cloud‑based SaaS products on Azure (and preferably AWS/GCP), with responsibility for availability, cost and customer‑facing APIs.
• Strong background in FinOps and API‑first product development.
• Proven track record of transforming engineering teams to improve delivery velocity, quality or caliber.
• Excellent judgment under pressure, direct communication style and ability to make rapid decisions with imperfect information.
