Product Compliance Officer – Market Readiness Team

About the role

As a Product Compliance Officer you will join Fairphone’s Market Readiness Team within the broader Product organisation. You will ensure that every hardware and software solution complies with the regulatory and sustainability standards of our target markets, supporting seamless market entry and product lifecycle risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Translate regulatory standards and product label criteria (e.g., TCO, Blue Angel) into actionable product requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Legal & Compliance team to validate interpretations and mitigate corporate risk.
• Own the implementation of the product compliance framework and related user documentation.
• Maintain the long‑term regulatory roadmap for current and future product categories.
• Work hand‑in‑hand with the Certification Manager and external testing labs to manage certification processes.
