Legal Advisor – Categories & Marketing

About the role

Barilla is looking for a Legal Advisor to support the Categories & Marketing and Global Enabling Functions units. You will provide legal guidance, draft and negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and Group policies while partnering with business stakeholders on strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to Categories & Marketing and Global Enabling Functions.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and legal documents.
• Partner early with project teams to identify practical, legally sound solutions.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations.
• Prepare legal analyses, reports and documentation to support business decisions.
• Liaise with external counsel and coordinate legal support as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, preferably with knowledge of Italian law.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in an international company or reputable law firm.
• Experience in FMCG, food & beverage or consumer goods environments is a plus.
• Fluent English; professional proficiency in Italian strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of commercial and contract law.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Ability to assess legal risks and provide practical, solution‑oriented advice.
• Understanding of compliance principles and corporate governance.
