Culinary Steward (Dishwasher) - Business Lounges Schiphol

About the role

Swissport's business lounges (Aspire, Star Alliance and oneworld) at Schiphol Airport are looking for a Dishwasher to join the Back of House team. You will work closely with the Culinary Lead and Culinary Senior, supporting the kitchen team so that crockery stays clean and available, stock is organised and the service runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload the dishwasher and keep crockery and kitchen utensils clean and available.
• Keep the kitchen, pantry and other Back of House areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Replenish crockery, materials and stock, and collect and prepare stock for the kitchen team.
• Separate and dispose of waste according to recycling procedures.
• Support stock management and keep storage areas organised.
• Work according to hygiene regulations and the Food Safety Management System.
• Help with food preparation and other kitchen tasks when required, and report issues promptly to the Culinary Lead.

Required profile

• No chef experience needed; reliability, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
• An interest in food, catering or hospitality; previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Able to work at a fast pace, follow procedures carefully and work both in a team and independently.
• Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays, between 05:30 and 22:30, 7 days a week.

What we offer

• Temporary contract of 24 to 38 hours per week, with a salary of EUR 2,760 to 3,365 gross per month (38 hours, excluding allowances).
