Data Science Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Data Science Associate to join our Data & Analytics team in Amsterdam. The role involves working on growth revenue management, marketing analytics, CLM/CRM analytics and risk analytics, collaborating with senior stakeholders and data scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data analysis across various domains such as growth revenue management, marketing and risk analytics.
• Work with data throughout its lifecycle: acquisition, cleaning, integration, analysis, interpretation and visualization.
• Prepare and facilitate workshops, manage stakeholders and communicate findings to executives.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in analytics.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, computer science).
• Strong analytical thinking, problem decomposition and hypothesis development.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Python (including Jupyter, Pandas, Scikit‑Learn, Matplotlib).
• SQL.
• Hadoop.
• R or SAS, SPSS, Eviews, Teradata, Excel.
