Director of Product – Tech & Data

About the role

Rituals is transforming from a project-driven organisation into a product-oriented company, moving beyond temporary initiatives and delivery milestones toward long-lived products, empowered teams and measurable business outcomes. As Director of Product, you will play a defining leadership role in shaping the future operating model, reporting to the Executive Director Tech & Data and serving as a member of the Tech & Data Management Team. You will build and lead the Product organisation and help shape a new way of working.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the transformation from a project-oriented delivery model to a mature, outcome-driven Product organisation with clear ownership, accountability and measurable value creation.
• Build and develop Product leadership across Value Streams, Product Leads, Product Owners and Product Management communities, fostering a culture of coaching, growth and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture and Business leadership to establish empowered multidisciplinary teams organised around customer journeys, business capabilities and strategic outcomes.
• Drive product strategy, prioritisation, investment decisions and value measurement, so scarce capacity focuses on the highest-impact opportunities.
• Contribute to the design, adoption and evolution of the Rituals Product Operating Model, improving effectiveness, efficiency and long-term scalability.
• Work with senior business leaders, the Director of Engineering, Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise IT to remove unnecessary dependencies, handovers and bureaucracy.
