Director of Sales

About the role

QuantWare is building the world’s most powerful quantum processors. We are expanding our commercial team and looking for a highly driven Director of Sales to lead a global sales organization and accelerate revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to meet and exceed global revenue targets.
• Lead the sales team (3‑5 FTE) to achieve quarterly sales goals and manage forecasting.
• Collaborate with product, business development and account managers to drive sales across government‑funded quantum projects and academic institutions.
• Oversee sales reporting, forecasting and performance metrics against bookings and revenue goals.
• Manage FAE resources to ensure high‑quality pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support.
• Represent the voice of the customer internally, relaying feedback on delivery and product performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a technical or deep‑tech environment.
• At least 3 years of experience building, leading and scaling high‑performing sales teams.
• Proven ability to work with a diverse partner ecosystem, including VARs, system integrators and distributors.
• Strong technical acumen to engage credibly with customers and the quantum‑computing ecosystem.
• Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Science or a related field.
