Experienced Accountant – International Audit Role

About the role

Join PwC’s international audit team as an Experienced Accountant. You will work across multiple offices, supporting the planning and finalisation of clients’ annual financial statements while balancing four days of client work with one day of study for a Post‑Master degree.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for audit clients.
• Plan, execute and finalise the audit of annual financial statements.
• Test and evaluate clients’ internal control measures.
• Coach and review the work of less‑experienced colleagues.
• Collaborate with teams ranging from two to ten members, including partners, directors and junior staff.

Required profile

• Graduate of a research university or university of applied sciences.
• Minimum two years of audit experience in sectors such as Consumer Industrial Products, Public Sector, Private Companies, or Energy & Utilities.
• Strong project‑management abilities (planning and control).
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• High integrity, excellent communication skills and a proactive, ambitious attitude.
