Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will support Li Auto’s growth in Europe by preparing financial reports in line with local accounting standards and overseeing tax matters, particularly in the Netherlands. This role combines strong accounting expertise with tax planning to ensure compliance and drive financial efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports according to local accounting standards and meet audit requirements.
• Research and monitor changes in European tax laws, especially Dutch regulations, and analyse tax implications for local entities.
• Collaborate with the headquarters finance and tax team to develop and implement tax planning strategies.
• Handle tax registration, filing, invoice issuance, and apply for local tax refunds or incentives.
• Coordinate local tax audits and communicate with tax authorities.
• Identify and engage local auditors, negotiate fees, and provide audit materials.
• Manage employee travel & expense payments, employee reimbursement queries, and oversee overseas accounts payable compliance.
• Support overseas management reporting, data reconciliation, and identify key financial control points in business processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, tax, economics or related fields.
• Minimum 6 years of finance or tax experience at large entities or accounting firms in the Netherlands.
• Proficient English communication and writing skills; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Experience in accounting/tax management within the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent team coordination.
