Financial Control Intern

About the role

Join ASICS at its EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp and support the Group Financial Control team. As a Financial Control Intern you will gain practical experience in corporate finance operations, assisting with month‑end closing, reconciliations and audit preparation for ASICS Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with month‑end closing activities for ASICS Europe to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain financial records and perform basic account reconciliations.
• Support data collection and validation for regular financial reporting.
• Gather and organise documentation for internal and external audits.
• Maintain audit documentation in designated systems and assist with filing J‑SOX documentation.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Dutch university for the full internship duration.
• Available from September for 5‑6 months.
• Studying Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas and functions).
• Willingness to learn and use SAP.
