Generalist Intern

About the role

This is a 6‑month generalist internship sitting across People, Finance, and Operations at a fast‑moving fintech company building compliance and identity infrastructure. You will work on real problems with real ownership, not busy work. The role exists because the team moves quickly and needs a sharp, proactive person who can pick up tasks across functions and see them through.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruiting by sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating active searches.
• Help manage finance operations, including expense matching, receipt tracking, and month‑end close support.
• Coordinate travel logistics for the team.
• Support new‑joiner onboarding, covering equipment, schedules, and first‑week setup.
• Research and recommend tools, vendors, and internal processes.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of tasks with minimal hand‑holding.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program in any field.
• Based in Amsterdam or able to relocate for the internship duration.
• Strong written communication in English.
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks and manage workflows independently.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and switching contexts quickly.
• Proactive nature, acting without needing to be asked.

What we offer

• Monthly salary of €1,500–€2,000.
