Growth Strategy Director

About the role

As the Growth Strategy Director at DEPT®, you will be the senior strategic lead and media figurehead for one of the agency’s most complex, high‑profile accounts. You will own the media agenda, guide content leadership and drive cross‑disciplinary collaboration to turn strategic ambition into measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the senior media lead and content figurehead, shaping the media narrative and strategic direction for the client.
• Steer the overall media agenda, ensuring consistency, quality and ambition across brand and performance activities.
• Lead large, high‑impact campaigns such as international brand moments, sponsorships and World Cup‑scale activations.
• Connect media, creative, influencer, content, brand and performance teams both internally and externally.
• Present clear, persuasive strategies to senior client stakeholders, translating complexity into actionable direction.
• Identify and expand opportunities into broader strategic territories and contribute to new business growth.

Required profile

• Senior media strategist or media director‑level professional with extensive agency experience.
• Proven track record leading large, complex corporate accounts.
• Full‑funnel media expertise across digital and traditional channels (digital TV, influencer, brand & performance).
• Strong stakeholder management skills with political sensitivity.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with excellent presentation and communication abilities.
