Head of Airbus Tech Hub Netherlands

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Head of its newly established Tech Hub in the Netherlands. The role will drive the acceleration of aviation decarbonisation through technology innovation, linking Dutch research, industry and government with Airbus global initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and execute national and international strategic roadmaps, including the Flying Vision Accelerator and decarbonisation technology projects.
• Lead the Tech Hub NL team, reporting to the global Tech Hub organization and the Managing Director of Airbus NL.
• Collaborate with industry partners, knowledge institutes and government to translate technology, market and policy insights into concrete actions.
• Oversee project portfolios, monitor progress and report outcomes to senior Airbus stakeholders.
• Work with Communications and Public Affairs to promote the Tech Hub’s footprint and generate new opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a technology‑focused environment, preferably within aerospace or related high‑tech sectors.
• Strong understanding of decarbonisation challenges and emerging technologies for aviation.
• Ability to build multi‑stakeholder collaborations across industry, academia and government.
• Excellent strategic thinking and project management skills.
