Head of Financial Infrastructure Expansion

About the role

We are seeking a highly driven Head of Financial Infrastructure Expansion to develop strategic solutions for banks, financial institutions, fintechs, payment companies, telcos, and large enterprises worldwide. This hands‑on role bridges external partners with Tether’s product teams, leveraging stablecoins, wallets, tokenization, payments and other solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify strategic opportunities with banks, fintechs, payment companies, telcos, retailers and large enterprises globally and design tailored solutions.
• Originate, structure, negotiate and close high‑value strategic partnerships and deployments.
• Act as the bridge between customers, external implementation partners and Tether’s internal product and business teams.
• Own strategic projects from initial engagement through execution and scale, monitoring success with KPIs.
• Define priority markets, build and manage a global pipeline, and lead the Financial Infrastructure Expansion team.
• Represent Tether in strategic meetings with major enterprises, governments, regulators and industry leaders.

Required profile

• 7+ years experience in banking, payments, fintech, financial infrastructure or technology business development.
• Proven ability to understand complex customer needs and translate them into multi‑product solutions.
• Strong relationships with senior decision‑makers across banks, fintechs, telcos and large enterprises.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building and managing high‑performing teams.
