Head of Tax – Global Tax Strategy Lead

About the role

As the Global Head of Group Tax for the Essential Products business, you will shape and execute the tax strategy of a worldwide animal nutrition and health leader. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring compliant growth, strong governance, and protection of the company’s tax position.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the global tax strategy, balancing public scrutiny, reputational risk, and ethical standards.
• Optimize tax and customs positions across all essential products, covering indirect taxes, transfer pricing, supply‑chain financing, M&A, and emerging frameworks such as Pillar II.
• Identify, assess, and manage tax and customs risks and opportunities, driving implementation across business units, regions, and countries.
• Monitor global tax developments and translate regulatory changes into actionable guidance for the business.
• Lead tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities worldwide, influencing local finance teams to align with tax policies.
• Serve as the tax centre of expertise, developing policies, building awareness, and executing tax matters within Group Tax governance.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience in international tax roles, preferably within a multinational or complex global organization.
• Broad knowledge of domestic and international tax matters, including tax structures, planning, and fiscal sensitivities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Fluency in business English; additional languages are a plus.
