IT Onsite Support Technician (L2) – Backfill & Dispatch

About the role

This is a flexible, part-time, task-based position for IT Onsite Support technicians working on a backfill and dispatch basis across the Tilburg area. Backfill means taking over a vacant position at a client for a set period (sickness, leave, vacation); dispatch means being assigned to a specific task or client. Hours vary by client and task, typically 09:00–18:00 or 08:00–17:00 with a 1-hour break, and are paid per assignment or per hour with no guaranteed minimum.

Key responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows, Mac and other authorised desktop software and applications
• Support End User Workspace hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, video and conferencing equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and provide advanced support for complex hardware, software and application issues
• Provide fleet rotation services similar to the Apple Genius Bar and priority support for Executive and VIP users
• Support remote Desktop Engineering teams on packaging, distribution, image management, MDM, security and desktop virtualisation
• Support Customer/OEM SMEs onsite and assist users with logged incidents, documenting requests in the IT service desk system

Required profile

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar environment
• MBO/HBO education or equivalent practical experience
• Fluent Dutch with customers and good-standard English with the Service Desk
• Valid right to work in the Netherlands
• Ability to travel to client sites by public transport or your own transport

Required skills

• Windows and Mac, MS Office and Outlook
• SCCM, MDM, Citrix and similar; familiarity with virtual, MDM and VPN environments
• Active Directory, TCP/IP, basic compute and network infrastructure
• Breakfix and IMAC activities, spare parts replacement
