IT Support & Systems Administrator – Rotterdam

About the role

At Customs Support, hundreds of colleagues rely on stable and secure IT systems every day. As the IT Support & Systems Administrator you are the first point of contact for IT‑related questions and issues, while also managing the workplace environment and collaborating with external partners. Your work enables customs specialists to focus on facilitating international trade.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize help‑desk tickets, providing timely technical support for hardware, software, workplace and network issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services—including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and Intune—handling user accounts, licenses, device enrollment and access rights.
• Maintain laptops, workstations and peripherals across Belgium and the Netherlands, performing updates, patch management, backups and system health checks.
• Support endpoint security, device compliance and access management while promoting security awareness.
• Collaborate with external IT vendors to identify improvement opportunities and recommend emerging technologies.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration or workplace management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11 and Windows Server environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and Intune.
• Customer‑focused attitude with good communication skills in Dutch and English.
