NCE TAR Manager

About the role

The NCE TAR Manager is responsible for planning, executing and closing turn‑around (shutdown) projects at Air Liquide sites in the Benelux region. The role involves coordinating scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, financial control and documentation across multiple plants.

Key responsibilities

• Define and accept project scope, create detailed work packages and ensure they are entered correctly in Maximo.
• Develop the overall timeline, milestones and resource plan together with asset managers and external contractors.
• Manage ordering of materials and services (excluding procurement commercial activities) and monitor delivery against the schedule.
• Lead daily progress meetings on site, monitor work quality, control overtime and validate additional work within approved cost limits.
• Close out the turn‑around by finalising work orders, digitising reports, punch‑lists and certificates, and completing financial closure.

Required profile

• Safety‑mindset with strong leadership and autonomous working style.
• Well‑organized, analytical and able to handle stress and blocking points proactively.
• Minimum bachelor level education and at least 5 years of professional experience, including 2 years in turn‑around or project management.

Required skills

• Project management tools: MS Project and MS Office.
• Maintenance information system: Maximo.
• Experience with procurement ordering systems (e.g., WISE) and cost‑budget control.
