About the role
The NCE TAR Manager is part of the NCE Turnaround team, overseeing the planning, execution, and closure of major shutdowns at Air Liquide sites in the Benelux region. The role involves coordinating with internal asset managers, maintenance teams, and external contractors to ensure safe, on‑time, and cost‑effective turnarounds.
Key responsibilities
- Define scope, timeline, and resources for each turnaround, ensuring alignment with site owners.
- Manage work preparation, ordering (excluding procurement), and outage planning.
- Lead daily progress meetings, monitor quality, and control costs, including extra‑work approvals.
- Oversee the capitalization process, close work orders in Maximo, and ensure proper documentation and financial closure.
Required profile
- Safety‑mindset with strong leadership and autonomous working style.
- Analytical, well‑organized, and able to handle stress and blocking points.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of professional experience, including 2 years in turnaround or project management.
Required skills
- Project management and cost‑budget control.
- Proficiency with maintenance information systems (Maximo) and planning tools (MS Project, MS Office).
- Fluent English; Dutch or German is a plus.
