Onsite IT Support Engineer (L1)

About the role

An IT support provider is looking for a proactive and technically skilled Onsite Engineer to join its IT support team for one of its clients. You will diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues across the organization and provide good customer service to users of varying technical knowledge. The work is temporary.

Key responsibilities

• Hardware preparation: provision and log physical assets such as laptops, monitors and peripherals; inspect devices so that cameras, microphones and ports are functional; apply company asset tags and document assignments.
• Software and security configuration: apply the corporate desktop image, install productivity tools such as Microsoft 365 and Teams, and keep the OS and drivers fully patched.
• Account and access provisioning: grant access to shared drives, VPN groups and cloud apps, set up MFA, test Wi-Fi and VPN connectivity, and log the setup in the ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Maintain office hours and attendance of 8.5 hours per day, stay professional and calm with users, and travel to client sites according to the schedule.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of Intune.
• English and Dutch.
• Own car and driving licence, and willingness to travel to client locations.
