OT&A Integration & Testing Lead

About the role

The QA Engineer will support, coordinate and execute quality assurance and testing activities for automation products and OT deployments at APM Terminals. The role ensures that automation solutions, control systems and terminal workflows are validated as an integrated end‑to‑end solution before live operation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, coordinate, execute, document and report testing across product development, deployment, commissioning, go‑live and stabilization phases.
• Develop and maintain test conditions, cases, scripts, data requirements, acceptance criteria and traceability.
• Execute FAT, SAT, integration, interface, operational scenario, UAT, regression, performance, resilience and operational readiness testing.
• Manage defects through identification, classification, tracking, retesting, closure and root‑cause analysis.
• Review supplier test documentation, release evidence and quality records for compliance.
• Support readiness reviews, quality reporting, go‑live assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Automation, Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Quality Management or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in QA, system testing, product validation, commissioning or industrial automation.
• Strong understanding of automation equipment, control systems, system integrations and live operational environments.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset and leadership qualities, putting customers first and driving results with integrity.

Required skills

• Test case creation, test evidence management and defect management.
• Familiarity with test and defect management tools such as Jira and Xray.
• Knowledge of automation equipment, control systems, software/firmware releases and OT platforms.
