Process Development Engineer – Manufacturing Support

About the role

Kuros Biosciences, a Swiss‑listed life‑science company, is expanding its Bilthoven production team. The Process Development Engineer will provide day‑to‑day technical support to ensure safe, compliant, and uninterrupted manufacturing of orthobiologic medical devices. Reporting to the Bilthoven office, the role works closely with Production, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary engineering contact for daily manufacturing issues.
• Investigate and resolve equipment, process, and product‑related deviations.
• Provide real‑time support to production personnel to minimise downtime.
• Conduct root‑cause investigations using structured methodologies such as 5‑Why, Fishbone, and DMAIC.
• Lead and document troubleshooting activities for manufacturing events and non‑conformances.
• Support disposition activities and technical assessments related to production issues.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and people‑leadership skills.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Effective communication to present findings and document processes.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience in project planning, execution, and tracking.
• Background in continuous improvement and project management.
