Product Engineer, Robotics

About the role

The Product Team is looking for a motivated Product Engineer to serve as a multi‑disciplinary technical resource across Europe. Based in the Amsterdam (Haarlem) demo and test site, you will work closely with sales, customers, and the Go‑to‑Market team on AI‑driven robotic picking solutions for warehouses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the European demo and test site for robotic picking, coordinating visits and delivering in‑depth product demonstrations.
• Conduct pre‑sale customer visits, evaluate requirements against technology, and run customer tests at the Amsterdam site.
• Visit existing and ramp‑up customer sites to analyse issues, interact with operating teams, and perform data analysis to increase value.
• Manage the showroom, demo, and test facilities, ensuring they showcase the latest capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, Economics or a related field, or strong computer‑science skills.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse logistics, automation or industrial robotics, with a track record of bringing products to market or working in a start‑up environment.
• Excellent presentation and public‑speaking abilities, able to build consensus with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional German or French is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.

Required skills

• Python programming for data analysis.
• Working knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System).
• Linux operating system proficiency.
• Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with robotic manipulation, sortation and conveyor systems, and vision sensors.
