R&D Coffee Academy Intern

About the role

JDE Peet's is looking for an R&D Coffee Academy Intern at its international headquarters in Utrecht, starting in March 2027. The Coffee Academy is an on-site training programme for associates to share their passion for and knowledge of coffee, and the intern helps improve it.

Key responsibilities

• Help plan and organise trainings and events
• Upgrade and improve the Coffee Academy with creative ideas
• Maintain and nurture the digital knowledge hub
• Develop an engaging remote concept for the Coffee Academy
• Create workshops to share the passion for coffee with stakeholders

Required profile

• Enrolled in a BSc or MSc programme for the whole internship, preferably in Learning & Development or Communication
• Internship included in the study curriculum and directly contributing to academic results
• Study institution willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet's and an NDA for research department internships
• EU/EEA student residing in the Netherlands during the internship, or a non-EU/EEA student enrolled and living in the Netherlands
• At least 5 months of commitment, preferably March to August 2027, available 5 days a week (four days in office, one day remote)

Required skills

• Strong MS Office skills
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Structured, driven and energetic, with good communication and teamwork skills

What we offer

• Monthly internship allowance of EUR 525 (full-time)
• Travel compensation if you do not have a free public transport card
• Paid holidays for each internship term
