Researcher Academy Intern

About the role

The Researcher Academy Intern will join Elsevier’s free e‑learning platform for early‑career researchers. This 9‑month internship offers a master’s student the chance to gain hands‑on experience in marketing communications within a global information and analytics company.

Key responsibilities

• Support content development and marketing initiatives to increase platform traffic and acquire new users.
• Coordinate the creation of learning materials with internal teams and external partners.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns, manage online community and social media channels.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis, including focus groups and surveys.
• Assist with live‑streaming and webinar production.

Required profile

• Enrolled as a master’s (MSc/PhD) student in Sciences or Marketing for the internship duration.
• Eligible to receive academic credits for the internship.
• Near‑native English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Social media management (YouTube, LinkedIn) and paid advertising experience.
• Multimedia content creation, including image editing and video production.
• Live‑streaming and webinar development support.
• Research techniques such as focus groups, customer surveys, and market analysis.
