About the role

Checkout.com is seeking a Payments Sales Manager to join its Commercial Payments Team in Amsterdam. You will drive rapid growth across multiple industries by selling the full payments technology stack to middle‑market and large enterprise organisations. The role offers an uncapped recurring commissions plan, hybrid work model, and a competitive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a consultative payments strategist, advising companies on optimal payment structures using Checkout.com’s solutions.
• Identify, qualify and close high‑potential prospects and partners to build a healthy pipeline across verticals.
• Develop prospect engagement strategies in collaboration with marketing, business development, and product teams.
• Pitch next‑generation payment solutions and value‑added services to C‑suite stakeholders.
• Prepare high‑quality presentations and proposals, and negotiate complex deals.
• Orchestrate the full sales process, maintain a well‑organized portfolio, and nurture key accounts.

Required profile

• 3+ years of enterprise sales experience directly in the payments industry.
• Proven track record of high performance and self‑sourced leads.
• Highly motivated with excellent communication skills and a solid network of prospects and partners.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate complex structures.
