Senior Associate Indirect Tax - Financial Services

About the role

Join PwC's Indirect Tax – Financial Services team in Amsterdam as a Senior Associate. You will work at the intersection of VAT, technology, and the rapidly evolving financial sector, helping clients navigate complex tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client consultations on VAT implications of new financial products and services.
• Research and develop solutions to complex VAT issues, including dispute resolution and control of VAT positions.
• Collaborate with international colleagues to deliver comprehensive tax advice.
• Draft objection and appeal letters on behalf of clients.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, contributing to a positive team environment.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in tax law or tax economics.
• Minimum 2 years of VAT‑related experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and a proactive, creative approach to problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Interest in building lasting relationships with clients and regulators.
