Senior Clinical Development Scientist – Medical Imaging/CT

About the role

As a Senior Clinical Development Scientist in Medical Imaging/CT, you will shape the clinical evidence for Philips’ next‑generation CT technologies, including Photon Counting CT. You will design and execute studies that support regulatory submissions, scientific evidence generation and commercial claims.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute clinical studies supporting regulatory submissions, product claims and evidence generation for CT innovations.
• Analyze clinical trial protocols and provide recommendations to ensure regulatory compliance and strategic alignment.
• Develop clinical development strategies in collaboration with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Health Economics and Post‑Market Surveillance.
• Author and review Clinical Evaluation Reports, Clinical Study Reports and regulatory submission sections.
• Collaborate with key opinion leaders, investigators and hospital partners to enable successful study execution.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Clinical Research or related field (PhD preferred).
• At least 5 years (ideally 7 + years) of experience in clinical development or research within the MedTech industry.
• Proven ability to work independently and influence cross‑functional, global stakeholders.

Required skills

• Clinical trial design and execution.
• Regulatory submission preparation (CER, CSR).
• Medical imaging expertise, specifically CT technologies.
• Collaboration with key opinion leaders and hospital partners.

What we offer

• Base salary €78,187 – €130,312 gross per year, plus a 3 % short‑term incentive.
