Senior Java Developer – Semiconductor Software

About the role

Cross Border Talents is recruiting a Senior Java Developer for a client in the Netherlands. The client is a global company with 70 offices across 16 countries, based in Veldhoven, and is a market leader in high-tech lithography, metrology and software solutions for the semiconductor industry. You will join a team of highly skilled software engineers working on software that supports the miniaturization of semiconductor technology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software using Agile methodology, in a team of software engineers.
• Create designs that are modular, scalable and robust, meeting customer requirements.
• Perform unit testing and on-target testing to ensure high quality.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders to understand their requirements.
• Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security and scalability of the system architecture.
• Take part in continuous process improvement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical background.
• 10+ years of experience with Java.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Git repository and Git workflow.
• CI/CD DevOps tools such as Bitbucket or Bamboo.
• Microservice architecture.
