Senior Manager, PR & AI Discovery

About the role

Consumer discovery is rapidly shifting from traditional search engines to social channels and AI‑driven answer engines. This senior role bridges traditional PR, influencer marketing, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to ensure Philips products are trusted, visible, and accurately represented across media, social platforms, and AI‑powered search engines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the regional GEO strategy: audit AI search engine presence, identify narrative gaps, and create machine‑readable earned assets that secure AI citations.
• Modernize earned media by integrating PR, expert reviews, KOL leadership, and influencer marketing into a unified authority layer for Western Europe.
• Direct agency partners, set performance KPIs, and manage GEO targets to ensure high‑quality execution.
• Translate communications strategy into market activation plans with Category PR, Marketing, Digital, Legal, Regulatory, Privacy, and Quality stakeholders.
• Own proactive PR, influencer marketing, and GEO planning for product launches, including spokesperson readiness and crisis communications.
• Partner with Social and Influencer teams to develop creator, ratings, and review strategies that boost consumer trust and AI discoverability.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range €78,187 – €130,312 per year.
• 3% on‑target short‑term incentive linked to individual and company performance.
• Hybrid work model with a minimum of three days onsite per week.
