Senior Software Engineer, AI Agents

About the role

Join DataSnipper’s AI Agents team to build the intelligence layer that automates the full assurance lifecycle, from risk assessment to documentation generation, reducing manual effort for auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI‑powered agents that automate assurance workflows, analyzing Excel files and documents using natural language commands.
• Build and maintain production APIs and services in a Python monorepo (FastAPI, Pydantic, MongoDB) and integrate with Azure AI services.
• Contribute to the React chat interface and implement security controls aligned with OWASP GenAI protocols.
• Architect services using solid design principles, produce robust production‑ready code, and mentor teammates.
• Collaborate with product partners, break down epics, and foster documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python proficiency.
• Experience building and deploying GenAI‑based applications and data‑driven web APIs on cloud platforms.
• Solid fundamentals in software architecture, system design, and testing strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
