Senior Technical Product Manager – Internal Developer Platform

About the role

Adyen is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the evolution of its Internal Developer Platform (IDP). You will help transform fragmented engineering workflows into a unified, automated ecosystem that boosts developer productivity and platform reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Drive initiatives that reduce SDLC friction, such as lowering CI flakiness and improving build insights to create automated "golden paths".
• Own product lifecycle management, assess tool maturity, execute deprecations, and define clear adoption paths.
• Partner with IDP engineering to roll out AGENTS.md standards, internal RAG pipelines, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for tools like GitLab and Jira.
• Build "LEGO‑block" abstractions that give teams autonomy over pipelines while maintaining secure, compliant guardrails.
• Implement data‑driven feedback loops to measure ROI, track adoption, and improve metrics such as DXI, Change Failure Rate, and developer velocity.

Required profile

• 10+ years of product experience in Platform Engineering, Developer Experience, or AI‑enabled technical products.
• Strong technical credibility; able to discuss system architecture, CI/CD constraints, and governance versus autonomy.
• Proven change‑management skills with a track record of influencing developer habits in opinionated environments.
• Data‑driven mindset, turning qualitative feedback and usage data into measurable impact.
• Comfortable thriving in ambiguity, executing quickly without perfect information.
