Site Reliability Engineer – Cloud Platform

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Site Reliability Engineer to join the Cloud Platform team, empowering DataSnipper’s growth through a secure and scalable enterprise cloud platform. As a Senior SRE you will architect robust solutions, automate pipelines and drive reliability across our AWS and Azure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and improve cloud infrastructure reliability, availability and performance.
• Respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and infrastructure‑as‑code solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed reliability and observability practices.
• Manage and optimise containerised workloads on AWS and Azure.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and document runbooks, post‑mortems and architecture decisions.
• Define and track service‑level indicators (SLIs) and objectives (SLOs) for owned services.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in site reliability, DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Ability to work independently on defined infrastructure responsibilities and escalate complex issues.
• Strong understanding of networking, distributed systems and cloud security fundamentals.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Azure services such as Container Apps, Key Vault and Front Door, and Terraform.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (Python or Bash).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms like Grafana or Datadog.
