Social Analyst

About the role

As a Social Data Analyst at DEPT®, you will turn social media data into actionable insights that guide creative and strategic decisions for a range of ambitious brands. Working closely with strategists, creatives and community managers, you will help build a data‑driven culture and improve both paid and organic social performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse paid and organic social performance across multiple clients and platforms.
• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations and define the KPIs that matter.
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards and performance frameworks using tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau.
• Conduct social audits and competitive analyses to support new‑business pitches.
• Partner with strategists and creatives to optimise content based on performance insights.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in social analytics, digital analytics or performance marketing.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their metrics (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest).
• Proficiency with reporting tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau) and social listening platforms (Brandwatch, Emplifi).
• Excellent communication skills to explain data to both specialists and non‑specialists.
• Full working proficiency in Dutch and English and ability to work from the Netherlands office.
