- Develop and maintain qualified alternate sources for critical parts through visits, sampling and inspections.
- Monitor supplier quality drift, work with Quality and Engineering to resolve root causes.
- Drive the commercial funnel for new product development, influencing design early through RFQs and supplier input.
Required profile
- 4+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management, preferably in fast‑growth environments.
- Ability to read technical drawings and discuss tolerances, GD&T, material grades and finishes with engineers.
- Hands‑on experience with machining, casting, sheet‑metal, moulding and electro‑mechanical assembly processes.
- Experience building should‑cost or teardown models and delivering measurable savings.
