Thesis Internship in Financial Services Accounting

About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance team in Amsterdam for a thesis‑focused internship within Financial Services. You will work on your graduation assignment while gaining access to up‑to‑date audit knowledge, data, and experienced professionals in banking, insurance and other financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Write a thesis or graduation assignment using PwC’s resources, data and expert interviews.
• Shadow your internship supervisor to observe day‑to‑day work of an accountant in Financial Services.
• Contribute to audit engagements for financial‑services clients.
• Participate in informal meetings, coffee chats and networking events with colleagues from associate to partner level.
• Attend social activities such as outings, drinks, a winter gala and a ski weekend.

Required profile

• In the final phase of an HBO or WO degree in economics, finance or a related field.
• Strong interest in accountancy, numbers and the financial‑services sector.
• Fluent in spoken and written Dutch and professional proficiency in English.
• Available to start in September or February.
