Wood Processing Operator (CNC)

About the role

A leading producer of custom wood and sheet material solutions is looking for a wood processing operator in Schijndel. The role involves setting up, operating and monitoring woodworking machines and producing parts according to technical drawings and customer specifications. It suits people who enjoy working with wood, have technical insight and want to learn the trade; prior CNC or saw machine experience is a plus.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC woodworking machines
• Perform operations on wood and sheet materials
• Read and evaluate technical drawings and specifications
• Check dimensions and quality of produced parts
• Identify deviations and suggest process improvements

Required profile

• Good command of Dutch and/or English
• General technical knowledge
• Experience as a CNC operator and/or saw machine operator is a plus
• Experience reading technical drawings is a plus
• Enjoys working with technology and takes responsibility for their work
