Assembly Mechanic

About the role

Bring high‑tech blueprints to life by assembling next‑level radar hardware. As an Assembly Mechanic you build the electronic and mechanical components that enable flawless tracking of critical airborne objects.

Key responsibilities

• Radar assembly and wiring: build complex radar systems by connecting electronic components, soldering parts, and assembling sub‑assemblies.
• Use electrical diagrams and keep simple work logs, reporting technical issues to keep the team aligned.
• Load software onto integrated servers and ensure seamless hardware‑software integration.
• Troubleshoot assembly faults, run diagnostic tests and support fixes before shipping.
• Assist testing at external locations and operate a forklift safely to move parts where they belong.

Required profile

• BA (MBO) degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
• Over three years of experience in high‑tech assembly roles.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
• Methodical approach with meticulous attention to precision.
• Proactive team player who can also work independently.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for radar testing.

Required skills

• Soldering and wiring of electronic components.
• Interpretation of electrical diagrams.
• Software loading onto integrated servers.
• Diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.
• Forklift operation.
