Electro-Technical Officer for New Container Vessels

About the role

The client is seeking an Electro‑Technical Officer (ETO) to join a newly‑built container vessel equipped with a modern, eco‑friendly methanol‑driven engine. The position offers a short‑term contract with the possibility of a permanent rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Join the vessel in Rotterdam and operate on board during the assigned trading area.
• Maintain and monitor the vessel’s electro‑technical systems, including the methanol engine.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the crew to guarantee reliable electrical performance throughout voyages.

Required profile

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Current medical certificate.
• Advanced knowledge of the IGF code.
• Good command of English.

What we offer

• Net salary starting from 6,200 EUR (negotiable based on experience).
• Fixed‑term contract of approximately 3 months (±1 month) with potential for permanent rotation.
• Assignments on vessels trading in the Baltic Sea, Mediterranean Sea, and Caribbean Sea.
