Field Service Technician

About the role

TechnipFMC is looking for a Field Service Technician to join its Surface team in Nieuw‑Amsterdam. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of wellhead related equipment, working both on‑shore and off‑shore as well as supporting the workshop when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Install new products, conduct repairs and perform maintenance on TechnipFMC equipment.
• Ensure all service tooling, spare parts and equipment are ready and fit for function before each job.
• Complete field service reports with all required information.
• Provide project support, attending design reviews, assisting with Factory Acceptance Tests and reviewing training requirements.
• Communicate with company representatives on procedures, spare parts, safety and critical measurements.
• Offer sales support by keeping customers informed and handling complaints professionally.

Required profile

• Technical education (MBO level) or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong technical understanding with hands‑on mechanical work experience.
• Ability to read, understand and follow relevant procedures.
• Calm under pressure, proactive problem‑solver.
• Excellent communication skills in English and sufficient German.
• Flexible regarding working hours, locations and travel; willing to travel abroad.
• Available to support workshop activities when required.
