Finance & Accounting Internship – Group Consolidation & Reporting

About the role

This internship supports the Group Consolidation and Reporting (GC&R) team at Philips, helping with quarterly press releases, annual reports, and regulatory filings. You will work with cross‑functional teams and gain hands‑on experience in financial reporting and data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating quarterly press releases and the annual report process.
• Support XBRL filings for the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) and the US SEC.
• Retrieve and process data from the financial system into reporting tools.
• Prepare and present reports for internal and external stakeholders with high accuracy.
• Analyze departmental project data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to support strategic initiatives.
• Participate in team meetings, capture detailed minutes, and contribute ideas.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Currently studying for a Bachelors or Masters in Finance or Accounting.
• Interest in IFRS and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent oral and written English.

What we offer

• Monthly allowance of €500‑€700 gross (pro‑rated for part‑time).
• Housing compensation of €300 net (Amsterdam) or €255 net (other locations) with proof of lease.
