Finance & Growth Projects Specialist

About the role

QuantWare is seeking a Finance & Growth Projects Specialist to support a variety of finance improvement, growth, compliance and strategic projects. You will work closely with Finance leadership and collaborate across the organization on topics ranging from process improvement and AI to grants, contracts and international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Support finance improvement projects across processes, controls, reporting and systems, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and improve using AI and new technology.
• Assist Finance leadership with strategic, analytical and operational priorities, preparing analyses, reporting and decision‑ready materials.
• Identify relevant grants, subsidies and funding opportunities, coordinate applications, financial models and documentation, and manage grant administration and reporting.
• Support legal, compliance and growth initiatives by streamlining contract processes and coordinating finance, tax, legal and compliance requirements for new markets and partnerships.
• Provide export and regulatory support, assessing requirements for new customers, markets, products and transactions, and coordinating external specialist advice.

Required profile

• Strong academic background with a genuine interest in finance and business operations.
• Analytical, structured and intellectually curious, able to handle many different types of projects.
• Proactive self‑starter who enjoys improving processes, learning new topics and taking ownership from analysis through execution.

Required skills

• Experience with AI applications in finance.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and finance transformation projects.
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools.
