Full Stack Developer Internship – Finance Domain

About the role

This internship is part of the Harmonized Business Case team at Philips Healthcare, focusing on building and enhancing financial models for long‑term strategic partnerships. You will work in an Agile SCRUM environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Increase modelling capabilities in the UI, API and micro‑services, adding support for subscription and PPU payment plans.
• Build, test and deploy new features that enrich financing options and scenarios.
• Participate in user acceptance testing for financial models.
• Support unit testing with Playwright updates and maintain technical documentation.
• Design, develop and connect additional functionality in the intuitive user interface.
• Create work instructions and documentation for end‑users.

Required profile

• Final year BSc or MSc in Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Strong interest in learning finance and accounting concepts.
• Experience designing/developing user interfaces, backend services and relational databases.
• Fluent in English.

What we offer

• Monthly allowance of €500‑€700 gross, depending on education level.
• Housing compensation (€300 net near Amsterdam, €255 net elsewhere) for eligible relocations.
• Travel compensation up to €192 net.
