Software Designer (C++) – Image Guided Therapy

About the role

Help shape the software behind Philips image‑guided therapy systems. You will design, build, test and improve display software for X‑ray imaging platforms used in cardiac and vascular diagnosis and intervention.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and test C++/C# software for the imaging chain of Philips X‑ray systems, focusing on the Azurion platform.
• Translate system and subsystem requirements into robust software designs, define interfaces and maintain technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Modernize legacy code, work with model‑based design, automatic code generation and ensure compliance in a regulated medical‑device environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• Approximately five years of relevant software‑development experience, preferably in a regulated industry.

Required skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with C++ (including legacy C) and C# on Windows.
• Experience with model‑based design, automatic code generation, TDD and BDD.
• Familiarity with Agile development, pair programming and AI‑assisted development.

What we offer

• Base salary range €61,185 – €101,976 per year, plus a 3% performance bonus.
• Hybrid work model with at least three days per week onsite in Best, Netherlands.
