Grooming and Beauty Strategy & Business Development Director

About the role

Philips Personal Health is seeking a Director to lead strategy and business development for its Grooming & Beauty unit, shaping the strategic direction and driving growth across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute strategic plans for the Grooming & Beauty business, including deep‑dives, geographical expansion, transformation and digitisation.
• Support both organic and inorganic growth agendas, ensuring strategies are embedded in operational and regional plans.
• Collect market, competition and societal insights to enable active portfolio management.
• Collaborate with senior management, regional colleagues and finance to translate strategy into action.
• Act as a counterpart to other Strategy Directors across Philips Personal Health and Group Strategy.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in the personal care industry or top‑tier strategy consulting (e.g., BCG, Bain, McKinsey) at an executive level.
• In‑depth knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem, especially the grooming and beauty segment.
• International business experience within consumer or HealthTech domains.
• Proven track‑record of influencing and delivering strategy in multinational organisations.
• Strong communication, agility, growth mindset and willingness to travel.

What we offer

• Base salary range €93,049 – €155,081 per year, plus a 6% on‑target short‑term incentive.
• Hybrid work model with a requirement to work onsite at least three days per week.
