Group Sales Executive Supervisor

About the role

As a Group Sales Executive Supervisor you will lead a small team of 4‑5 Group Sales Executives, ensuring they deliver revenue across all hotel brands in the region. You will act as the primary point of contact for the team, approve offers, and support decision‑making while fostering their professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day guidance, answer first‑line queries and approve contracts for Group Sales Executives.
• Conduct weekly one‑to‑one meetings, regular face‑to‑face check‑ins and bi‑annual performance reviews.
• Oversee onboarding of new team members and arrange coverage during absences.
• Identify training needs, communicate them to management and help roll out new processes.
• Drive group and meeting sales by preparing proposals, negotiating terms and converting enquiries into bookings.
• Maintain accurate customer and event records in the Opera system and ensure timely communication with internal departments.
• Monitor market trends, best practices and implement improvements to boost sales performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel group sales or a similar B2B sales environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a small sales team.
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on meeting revenue targets.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Opera hotel property management system.
