Information Security Officer

About the role

As an Information Security Officer you will be the subject‑matter contact for security controls at DataSnipper, maintaining policies, operating risk activities and supporting SOC 2 and other audits. You will protect the company’s information systems, product and customer data while ensuring IT resilience and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain information security policies and monitor remediation actions.
• Support compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR and other frameworks, including evidence collection for audits.
• Deliver employee training and awareness initiatives on security guidelines.
• Respond to security incidents, coordinate resolution and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve secure development processes.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in information security with ownership of compliance frameworks.
• Proactive, self‑directed mindset and strong communication skills.
• Experience conducting vendor risk assessments and third‑party due diligence.

Required skills

• SOC 2 compliance and audit experience.
• ISO 27001 implementation.
• GDPR knowledge.
• Identity and access management (IAM).
• Network and cloud security.
• Secure development practices.
• Vendor risk assessment tools (e.g., Vanta).
