Learning & Development Specialist

About the role

Vertage is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to bring its global L&D approach to life in the Netherlands. You will own local delivery while collaborating with global L&D colleagues to create engaging learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and adapt global L&D programmes for the Dutch market, ensuring high‑quality onboarding and induction.
• Facilitate face‑to‑face and virtual workshops for employees and leaders.
• Gather feedback and continuously improve learning journeys across roles and career stages.
• Coordinate external learning providers and support the development of reusable learning resources.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development or Adult Learning.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Professional qualification in L&D or related discipline (or actively pursuing one).
• Ability to work independently as the primary local L&D specialist while staying connected to a global team.

Required skills

• Strong learning design and facilitation abilities.
• Experience creating and adapting learning content for local or regional requirements.
• Comfort delivering face‑to‑face onboarding and induction sessions.
• Curiosity about new learning approaches, digital and AI‑enabled learning.
