Manager – Payments Consulting (INNOPAY)

About the role

Oliver Wyman’s INNOPAY unit is seeking a Manager to lead digital‑transactions projects for clients in the Netherlands. You will combine deep expertise in payments, data strategy and regulatory matters with structured problem‑solving to deliver pragmatic solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead international project teams, coordinating engagements and ensuring high‑quality delivery and client impact.
• Help clients address digital transformation challenges and develop open, data‑driven business models.
• Act as the day‑to‑day point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships.
• Contribute to INNOPAY’s thought leadership by sharing expertise and developing new propositions.
• Support business development in the Netherlands by identifying growth opportunities.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience at a top‑tier consultancy, focusing on digital strategy.
• Strong commercial acumen and a professional network in the Netherlands.
• Excellent analytical and structured problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Open Finance and ecosystem‑based business models.
• Data strategy, data exchange and API design.
• Customer journey mapping and product/service innovation.
• Payment processes, technology and related regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSD2, GDPR).
