Operational Material Management Internship (non‑thesis)

About the role

You will join Philips’ Material Management team in Best, supporting material inflow and inventory monitoring across the factory. The internship lasts 6‑12 months, with a minimum of 32 hours per week and on‑site presence three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Support material inflow and inventory monitoring activities.
• Gather information on issues, identify gaps and propose corrective actions.
• Assist with Daily Management operating rhythms and weekly KPI reporting.
• Analyze data and trends to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Good understanding of ERP systems and material flow.
• Strong communication skills, collaborative and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and focus on operational efficiency.

What we offer

• Monthly allowance of €500‑€700 gross (pro‑rated for part‑time).
• Housing compensation up to €300 net (or €255 net for other locations) with proof of rental contract.
• Travel compensation up to €192 net if not eligible for a free public transport card.
